I am deeply sorry for your loss. Steve and I scheduled lunches to discuss financial planning but our conversations always focused on faith. He shared with me how C.S. Lewis made an impact on him as an adult and always had a good book recommendation. We are praying for you.

We spent many hours going to political events and had many discussions, he taught me so much about politics. A super nice guy and so smart and funny. Steve and I were classmates from our first year at Deerfield Elementary through graduation from Lawrence High School. We lost track of each other afterwards, Steve going to law school and me going to medical school. We reconnected on Facebook a few years ago, and I greatly enjoyed our many interactions. We didn't always agree in our many political and economic discussions, but I always valued his input, and we always treated each other with respect and kindness. God bless, Steve!
