Sophia Hraback Obituary
Sophia Katherine Hraback, 91, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Wed., Jan. 15, 2014 at her home. Funeral Mass services will be at 11 am, Sat., Jan. 18, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 94th and State Ave. in Kansas City, KS with burial to follow in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Visitation from 10 to 11 am, Sat., Jan. 18, at the church where the Rosary Service will be at 10 am. Memorial contributions to the St. Philippine Catholic Church in care of the funeral home. Sophia was born on Nov. 15, 1922 in Kansas City, MO the fifth of six daughters born to Joseph Hall and Barbara Margaret (Mund) Hraback. She along with several of her sisters had worked as a clerk for the Santa Fe Railroad in Kansas City, MO. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She was the main caretaker for all of her sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters Josephine Agnes, Barbara Margaret, Sister Frances Anna, Gertrude Mund and Mary McCoy and is survived by extended family and friends

Prayers for the family. Sophia and all of her sisters were so nice to me and my son Timothy. They always prayed for a healing for Tim. Sophia was such a devout catholic woman. She will be loved and missed . God bless Linda Finley
