Thinking of Phil, my old friend and buddy, I had a big crush on him in High school. We hung out in a group that consisted of Barry Butter , Rod and my sister and me. I did visit him while in College in St. Louis .I took the train to Lawrence saw James Brown. Later he brought his girlfriend to visit in St. Louis. I think I contacted him on facebook but it was awhile ago. He pops up in my memories often.

Oh no! I am only just now learning of Phil´s passing. Since, I moved out of state in 2015, and had kept in touch a few times over the years. I consider Phil a dear close friend, who I saw weekly for years, to help nurture him through massage therapy. He was a remarkable human being with an oceanic heart, a truly intuitive healer, lover of people and animals, frogs & whales, especially, an explorer of dreams and navigator of tricky traumatic psychological terrain, helping countless people to transform and heal. He was not only a dear friend to me, but a pivotal therapeutic confidante in my life, helping me to shift and change my life to better reflect my heart´s dreams for overall health and well-being. He was a good man! I am so honored to have shared our connection and so sad to hear of his passing. I will imagine Phil as, somehow, somewhere, swimming in the deep blue see with the whales he cherished. I´ll remember his warm heart, soft voice, and his smiles. Thank you, Phil! My condolences to your family and friends and clients. In the photo, I provide, it´s the one material token of his kindness that I still carry with me, a little wooden shaman´s hand that he gifted to me, in thanks, before I moved away. I think of him fondly whenever I see it on my altar.

Well, this is upsetting. I know everyone probably feels like they had a special connection with you, Phil, bc that's exactly how I feel, too. You helped me so much through a very rough time. We grew roots and we're finally seeing the fruit. I googled you just now so that we could reconnect and I could tell you the good news. Thank you, my friend for being such a good human. If you ever need a reference, please just ask. Go in Peace. All good blessings. I love you.

Phil, I had no idea of the life that you LIVED! You first helped my family member, then myself and finally my son. You had a gift of helping others and I will never forget you, your wisdom, your laughter, your heart. When we happened to see each other in public, we would talk simply as friends. Thank you, Phil, for being You. You will always have a special place in my heart and will never be forgotten.

Phil was my therapist for many years, and helped me through some of the most difficult moments in my life. I will cherish all the laughs and stories he shared. He could always make me laugh while I was crying and I always felt better after each visit with him. He was a truly beautiful soul, and touched so many lives.

Phil and I were roommates at Phi Kappa Sigma and he was the best man at my wedding. Later in life, we lost track of each other. He was a great friend. I so sorry to hear of his passing.

I wanted to share the news that our former coworker, Phil, has left us. Throughout the years, Phil's passion for learning and his ability to heal others served as an inspiration to us all. Although his physical presence may be gone, his light will continue to shine in our hearts. I will deeply miss him.

Phil was my neighbor for at least 40 years. Socially conscientious and demonstrating it through his actions, whether by working to improve employment conditions for sanitation workers, trying to stabilize neighborhood housing, helping people as a social worker, or just lending a hand to a neighbor. A good man´s passing is everyone´s loss.
