Kirby Ostrander Obituary
Kirby was born on April 9, 1958 in Topeka, KS, the son of Charles Dean and Darlene Belle (Lang) Ostrander. He graduated near the top of his class at Highland Park High in 1976. He was in the marching band at the University of Kansas and graduated from there with an Education Degree in 1981.
He was a custodial supervisor at KU Memorial Unions and was more recently a para for Lawrence Public Schools.
Survivors include his sons, Ryan Ostrander, Hiawatha; Ian (Marianna) Ostrander and their son, Evan Ostrander, East Lansing, MI; brother, Troy (Cathy) Ostrander, Kansas City metro area; and nieces, Brooke and Lauren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Kirby's name to St.John's Catholic Church and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
