Jane and I were friends and housemates during some of our years at the University of Kansas. We lost track of each other after I moved away. We had many fun times together. Jane was always up for an adventure and had a wonderful since of humor. She was ALWAYS kind to people and she loved animals. I remember many fun trips to her families farm. I always thought we would see each other again.

So sorry for your loss. What a wonderful person, that Janey!!! I was blessed to have known her and worked with her for many years. Her life touched so many people. She was kind, loving, helpful, and had a wonderful sense of humor. We mail carriers have been telling Janey stories to the new employees since she retired, and they will live on forever. She had was the kind of carrier who kept the service in "United States Postal SERVICE" One can't help but break a smile when someone mentions Janey's purse. She had everything and anything that would have been needed during the day of a mail carrier. I loved Janey as did anyone who's life was touched by this woman.

I too remember Jane from Lawrence High School. We had a good time taking part in the Latin Banquet. Jane was shy but good-hearted. I wish I had known her at KU. I'm glad to know she had such a rich and loving life and family, and I'm sorry for your loss.
