Gloria Decker Obituary

Gloria A. Decker, 76, of Oskaloosa, KS., died at her home July 18, 2020. She was born November 19, 1943 in St. Paul, MN., the daughter of Albert John and Lucille Margaret Milner Bangert. She was a 1961 graduate of Johnson High School in St. Paul. Gloria worked for 20+ years as a book keeper for the Lawrence Paint and Decoration Company. She married Robert Decker in Watertown, SD., on February 5, 1966. He preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle K. Lawhorn, Eudora, KS., and Patty Brubaker, Oskaloosa. One brother, Mark Bangert, Hugo, MN., and one sister Diana Laszcwski, Oak River, MN., Four grandchildren, Tiffany Scott, Kelli Burbaker, Charles and Chris Groninger, and six great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Haven, Hadley, Zen, Irie and Taja. A memorial visitation will be 6-8pm, Wednesday, July 29, at the Barnett Family Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent to the funeral home, PO Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS.
