Ethan Schmidt Obituary

As a survivor of murder, I am so sorry and sickened by your dear ones death. When murder smashed my family in Newton, KS twenty-one years, it emotionally killed a part of all of us too. My sister had three small children at the time and this evil man murdered again before being caught. Although it is hellish, we have survived by the love of so many poured onto us and by Jesus' hope. It's really all we have in this fallen world. Her girls are grown now and strong. You can survive although you can't believe that now. I do and will continue to pray for and send love you mr. Dear Schmidt family, Dr.Schmidt was my professor for graduate studies last semester as well as this semester. He was an awesome teacher who cared about his students, and he did everything he could to help me succeed. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So saddened by the loss of a MS professor...such a wonderful guy by all accounts...so saddened for DSU faculty, staff, and students, but mostly for Dr. Schmidt's family and friends...God Bless you all!!
