Zach Bobbitt Obituary
Mr. Zachary “Zach” Caleb Bobbitt, 18, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident. Zach was born May 26, 2000 in Wilkes County. He was a 2018 graduate of East Wilkes High School and employed with Asplundh Tree Co.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dustin Michael Bobbitt and grandfather, Eddie Bert Bobbitt.
Survivors include: father and mother, Eddie and Sarah Bobbitt; brothers, Eddie “Bubba” Bobbitt, Nicholas Hall, Justin Redd and Will Mounce; sisters, Kaitlin Bobbitt and Natalia Hall; paternal grandmother, Debbie Call, maternal grandmother, Betty Bobbitt; special grandparents, Mickey and Dottie Cockerham, step-grandparents, Tim and Janet Nicholas, and niece, Allie Bobbitt.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jackie Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
The family would like to thank Elkin Rescue Squad, Elkin Fire Department and Elkin Police Department for their care.

Eddie, I was at Holy Week Service at First Baptist Church in Elkin when Dean called me and told me that Zach had been in a fatal accident. He requested we have prayer for your family, so before the benediction I stood up and told the congregation that your son had been in a fatal car accident and requested prayer. The lady from the pulpit had prayer for you. Sending my condolences.

We just talked the night before and you were always checking up on me asking how my surgery went..
