We send our sincere condolences to the Getto family, Paul, Charles, and Jane. The lovely Winnie, lived a long compassionate life, always caring for others. Jim and I will always remember Winnie & Paul's colorful stories of their early lives in Lawrence. We enjoyed them immensely as friends at Trinity Episcopal church, and will always remember them fondly.

My condolences to Paul, Charlie, and Jane and your families on the loss of your wonderful mother. I have many fond memories of growing up as your neighbor and spending time in your home. Your parents were always kind to me, even when I accidentally rode my bike into your driveway learning how to ride and knocked all your bikes over. Sending you comforting thoughts.

My condolences to all the Getty family. Dr. Getto was my first dentist, back in the 1950s, in Lawrence, when I was quite young (but old enough to have a cavity!). May the Lord Jesus Christ comfort all who mourn.
