William Tewksbury Obituary

WILLIAM "BILL" TEWKSBURY, SR. Bill, of Riverside, CA, passed away on September 7, 2013 after a brief illness. Bill was born August 15, 1923 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He was a current resident of the Olive Grove. Bill loved to reminisce about times gone by and was particularly proud of the time during WWII that he spent working on the construction of submarines at the Portsmouth Navel yard. He was a long time employee of Bourns Inc. and was certified to work on the Minuteman Missile and Apollo Programs. Bill was predeceased by his wife of fifty years, Mertie. Bill is survived by his son William Tewksbury Jr of Riverside; two daughters, Sandra Oicles and Mary Tewksbury of the San Francisco Bay Area; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; one brother Charles Tewksbury of New Hampshire.
