"Jerry"
Werner G. "Jerry" Lupcke of Bay City, Michigan passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning October 9, 2014 at his residence at the age of 82 years. The son of the late William Lupcke and Telhea (Krzewinski) Lupcke was born September 1, 1932 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. He graduated from St. James High School, served in the United States Army, retired from Saginaw Steering Geer and attended Our Lady of Peace Parish-St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He had a love for old cars, polka music, enjoyed sports and was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan.
On May 26, 1962 he married the former Dawn A. Bacon and she survives his passing along with three children; Darren G. Lupcke of Bay City, Kimberly A. (John) Gillman of Freeland and Timothy J. (Sharon) Lupcke of Bay City, four grandchildren; Lauren, Mitchell, Kate and Addison Lupcke and one brother; Ronald Lupcke.
Funeral Services will take place Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Sr. Virginia Scally, SNDdeN with the Rite of Committal following in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the Humane Society of Bay County will be available at the funeral home.

Hello Lupcke family - sorry to hear of your loss, condolences to you. I'm a distant cousin of Werner through the Krzewinski line and our family genealogist. If you're interested in Krzewinski family history I have a lot posted online as well.
Jerry's grandfather Johann/John Krzewinski was born in Skórcz, starogardzki, pomorskie, Poland on May 25th, 1879 and was in the US by 1899. I have a few generations back from that too.
It sounds like Jerry was a great guy - may his memory live on.

Sorry to hear of Werner's passing. He and I are 1st cousins. His mom and my dad, (Jerome Krzewinski), were brother & sister. The house on VanBuren where they lived, Werner, my Aunt Tilly, and Ronnie, was right behind the house that I grew up in. The backyards met. Our house was on Jackson. I remember him out washing this big red car he had when I was
a little girl.

So sorry to hear about Jerry. Have a lot of good memories throughout the years with him and my mom and dad and with your whole family. He LOVED his polka music; I hope he is playing one for my dad right now, I'm sure he would enjoy that. All his pain is gone now and even though he will be missed, you have a lot of good memories to hold on to. I hope he is enjoying a cold one with my mom and dad. Again, sorry for your loss.
