Rosemary Meile, 80, of Bonner Springs, KS died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at her home. Funeral service was held at 1 pm, Sat., Dec 28 at the Alden – Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with committal to follow at a later date in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Visitation was from 12 to 1 pm, Sat. prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. She was born Sept. 8, 1933 in Kansas City, KS and was a longtime area resident, and had worked for over twenty years at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She and her former husband Bruce "Bear" Meile that passed in 2005 were married on April 5th, 1985 at their home in Bonner Springs. They both enjoyed working at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival as Front Gate performers and were skilled in Astrology Charting for over ten years and also performed at other festivals throughout the country. Rosemary was a very generous lady and helped many people throughout her life. Survivors include her two sons Raymond Lindsey and his wife Shannon of Gladstone, MO., and Jerry Lindsey of Kansas City, KS., a step-son John Meile and his wife Karen of Naperville, Il. Four grandchildren Levi, Elias, Laura and Rachel. Three sisters Norma Eker, Shirley Anderson and Roberta Mueller (Michael), one brother Leo Clegg (Evelyn).
