Visitation, Wed., 6-8pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 W. 80th Ave., Arvada. Visitation, Thurs., 10:00 a.m. with funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. both at Peace Lutheran Church, 5675 Field St. Arvada. The reception will immediately follow at the church.
Memorials may be made in Robert's honor to the Neurology Fund in Memory of Robert Near, C/O Lutheran Medical Center Foundation, 8300 West 38th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.

To the Family of Bob Near:
Sorry for your loss. I worked with Bob for 10 years at the EPA. I looked forward to talking to him every day. He was so proud of his family and told me many stories about all of you that I feel I know most of you even though I never met you.

To Bob's family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob was beloved by many at EPA. When I first came to work at Denver EPA, Bob was so kind and helpful. His wonderful sense of humor and smile always made me look forward to seeing him. He was a great mentor and friend to many folks here. We will miss him, and our thoughts go out to you in your loss.
