Claudia Flory Obituary

Funeral services for Claudia Sue Flory, 83, Lawrence, will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday January 28, 2026 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, with Pastor Kelly Daigh officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Grove. Claudia passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at Pioneer Ridge.

She was born May 31, 1942, in Lawrence, the daughter of Neil M. and Marion E. Dowers Harris. She graduated from Lawrence High School and later attended Baker University.

Claudia was a homemaker and a gifted interior designer, putting her talents to work at Winfield House in downtown Lawrence.

She married Dale O. Flory on May 25, 1962, in Lawrence, He survives of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Lance Flory and wife Jill, Lawrence, and Brett Flory and wife Michelle, Derby; two brothers, Roger (Bo) Harris and wife Jane, and Michael Harris and wife Crystal, both of rural Baldwin; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Eric Huerter, Angela Cloud, and the therapy and nursing staff for their excellent care during Claudia's illness.
