Robert Herrington Obituary

Robert Trent Herrington passed away on Saturday December 4, 2021, at home in Topeka, Kansas. He was born June 8th, 1989, in Lawrence, Kansas to Robert K. and Susan C. Herrington, he was the youngest of 4 siblings. He attended Raintree Montessori through grade school and graduated from Free State High School in Lawrence. Trent was a free spirit who loved skate/snowboarding and at 17 began racing dirt track at Thunder Hill Raceway in his Black Cat Ford Mustang.

Trent earned his CDL from Washburn in Topeka and drove semi's nationwide for several years, seeing all the USA except for Alaska and Hawaii. He also worked on the family ranch south of Lawrence and enjoyed hunting and especially fly-fishing including trips to Lake City, Colorado, and the Green River in Utah.

He is survived by his parents, his brother Travis (Jennifer) Herrington of Eudora, sisters Tarah Herrington of Charleston, South Carolina and Wendy Herrington of Lawrence, his grandfather Fred Schroth of Salina and Grandmother Cleo Herrington of Lawrence. Two nephews Wyatt and Owen Herrington of Eudora. Trent is preceded in death by his Grandmother Joan Schroth and Grandfather Robert L Herrington.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Saturday December 11th at Christ Community Church, 1100 Kasold Drive, in Lawrence, Kansas.
