Upon learning of Del´s passing, my immediate thoughts took me back to 1983, when Linda and I arrived in Lawrence, KS. Del and Evie quickly sought us out to let us know of our mutual connection to Indiana University. They were truly genuine and sincere in their efforts to make us feel welcome. As well, Del always made himself available to me if needed to participate in KU Alumni Association matters. Rest in Peace Del as you have been a very special person to so many.
