Marilyn Ledom Obituary

Chuck, Becky, and Family,
I was very young when I knew you. I was Becky's friend who lived 2 houses down from you on Rhode Island Street. Mary and Chuck always welcomed me into their home, feeding me often. My mom never made tacos. The 1st tacos I ever ate was at your house. Mary always insisted I call her Mary, my mom always insisted I call her Mrs. Ledom. You were kind and warm and set a good example of what a good marriage was. I think of your family often and wish I could have told you what an important role you played in my young life. Thank you for the goodness you showered me with. I know you will be missed by many.

Greg - Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I have fond memories of your mom during our high school days in Lawrence. Keep the faith - knowing that she is in a better place.

Many will miss Marilyn as her class mates knew her. Her loving ways and devotion to her family and friends was inspirational. May you all find peace in having her as mother, grandmother, wife and friend.

Chuck, Don and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Marilyn will be missed by so many especially the Lawrence High Class of 1955. There are so many fond memories of her during our school years and all those following at the class reunions.

So sad to read about the death of Marilyn. Went all the way in school with her. May she rest in peace. I'm sure she will be missed by all.

Tears flow over my cheeks and drip off of my chin but I realize I should also rejoice; for my grandmother will forever be with me in my daily life, regardless of if she's on this earth or in Heaven. She is here, ever present. She is in my blooming flowers, her voice in my ear as I work in my garden,the songs of the birds, my baby's precious face, the things in my kitchen, the food I cook, the songs I sing, the stories I tell, the shows I love, the dreams I dream, her handwriting in my skin, and the memories I carry.
