Margie was known to many of Gary's coworkers at the Lawrence Post Office as "Mom". She was famous for her homemade candy and keen ability to lend an understanding ear. Margie was a longtime Jayhawk basketball fan and after each season's final game she would turn off the tv and ask "Now what will we do till next Fall?" "Grammie" will be greatly missed.
