Colleen and Nathan,
I have been thinking about you all daily since I heard the news of Lauren's passing. She was a great friend to me and my partner all the way through nursing school. We spent countless hours together studying, worrying, and accomplishing our dreams of being nurses. I couldn't have made it through those two years without her! She was the best and so smart. There are no words for such an unimaginable loss. You´re in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with her at OMC for years, she was my preceptor back when we both were night shift. I am extremely shocking with this news. I could not believe this is happening. I just talked to her approx. a little over a month ago on the Facebook.

I worked with Lauren for years, and she was such a sweet girl. I came in to work crying one day due to personal issues, Lauren gave me report from her night shift and left, and the next thing I knew, she had gone shopping and come all the way back up to the hospital to bring me candy and a cute book full of fun inspirational quotes. She was such a caring person. What a tremendous loss for you all. I am so sorry.
