One of the best men I've known and everything a girl could want in a beloved uncle.

Dear Marilyn,
What a beautiful love story that you and Ken have woven. I remember when your husband died suddenly and you were responsible for four small children. Such a difficult time for you. You moved from California back to Lawrence and continued to be a devoted mother and working full-time. Then, your world, and that of your children, changed when you met Ken. And, his world changed immensely, also. For 43 years you were blessed to have each other. Yours was definitely a marriage made in heaven. My prayers are with you and your now grown-up children. Love, Mary Gordon

There has never been a better 4-H leader. He welcomed us to his barn loft to play basketball on Sunday afternoons; took us to softball games; guided us on our projects; taught us parliamentary procedur; encouraged us to give speeches and demonstrations. I can't say enough about the influence Kenny had on my life.
