Katherine E. Cameron, 67, of State Route 26, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, with her loving family at her side, at Oneida Healthcare's Extended Care Facility, following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 29, 1946, in Oneida, the daughter of the late Andrew D. and Katherine Kellmurray Cameron. Katherine had worked at Sunnyside Nursing Home. She will most be remembered for being a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her children, Hope (James) Heath, of Hubbardsville, Katherine (Robert) Kerr, of Oriskany Falls, Kenneth Lane, of Oneida, and Charles Cameron, of Maine; her sisters, Martha (Harold) Cameron, of Utica, and Jane Rodgers, of MT; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Tina Lane; two grandsons, Christopher Cameron and James Heath, Jr.; and two brothers, Andrew Cameron and Michael Cameron. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, at 8:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Interment will be in Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 5-8 PM, prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home, located at 3592 South Street in Madison.
