In the 60's I worked in a temporary position in Watson Library for ten years. When I resigned to join the WACs John joked that I was the longest temporary employee he had ever had. For many of those ten years Mr. Glinka was my supervisor. This was my first real job; he gently guided me, allowed me to grow. Discovered that I loved working in the education environment, have always been grateful to John for this rare gift. With deepest sympathy–Genea Wilson, Admin. Assist to Social Science Div. Chair, MCCLongview

Mr. Glinka was the head of one of Watson Library Departments when I worked in Circulation Dept. Mr. Glinka was very well liked by all those under him in his department. My condolences to his daughter and family.
