Jeffrey Dean Shaw

Jeffrey "Bo Dean" Shaw, age 56, of Bonner Springs, KS. passed away on Nov. 11th, 2014. Funeral 11am, Sat. Nov. 15 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home with burial in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Visitation 6-8pm Fri. Nov. 14 also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions Bonner Springs Parks and Rec. for the Baseball Program.

Jeff was born on December 28, 1957, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He moved to Kansas as a boy and was a proud member of the Boy Scouts of America his entire childhood. After graduating from Bonner Springs High School in 1976, he worked 41 years for H.C. Davis & Sons Manufacturing. His passion was coaching youth baseball of all ages, and he spent more than 30 years coaching, even running his own group of teams: the Rebels. Countless young men consider themselves Rebels to this day, including Jeff's younger brother, three sons, and two nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, mother Barbra Joiner, sisters Kim Ford and Cathy Shields, and brothers Keith and Shawn. He is survived by: sons Jeffrey (Julie) of Independence, Mo., Jeremy (Jennifer) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Joshua (K-Lynn) of Bonner Springs; brothers Kenny Shaw and David Joiner; and grandchildren Madison, Noah, Joshua, and Joscelyn.
