DUJELA, Jasna Vjera

Jasna Vjera Dujela, 92 years old, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025. Jasna was born on January 20, 1933 in Poljana, Dalmatia, Croatia. Jasna is predeceased by her husband Gino, brothers Bozidar and Srecko, and parents Vice and Danica. She is survived by her children Viviana (Clarence), Esther, Doris (Ali), Edward (Carren), Cristopher, grandchildren Hussain (Madison), Roman, and Marino, brother Ricardo, and nieces and nephews.
Jasna, Gino and Viviana lived in Italy for three years before immigrating to Canada in 1957. Jasna was a devout Roman Catholic. Her faith was at the core of her life. Love defined who she was. She loved children and she loved to cook and to garden. She was a fabulous chef! She was an amazing mother, a woman of grace, beauty, strength, and spirit, teaching us patience, perseverance and always to believe in God. She loved and supported us all and will be greatly missed.

A Prayer Service with be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew's Cathedral, 740 View Street, Victoria, BC on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10:00 am, followed by Entombment at Royal Oak Mausoleum. There will be a Reception in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, following the Entombment.
