My prayers go out to Susan and the family. May you be comforted
By the Lord. It comes as a shock, James being so young.
He was a wonderful person.

Sending thoughts and prayers your way during this difficult time. My dad worked with Jim at the Ottawa Fire Department. Definitely a one of a kind, caring, talented, man. I always looked up to Jim because he was so positive and was not bothered by us kids asking tons of questions, and bugging him all the time. God bless you all....and God bless Jim, an angel has arrived and is watching over us.

James was a good friend. We had great experiences traveling and sharing music. He was best man at our wedding and used his amazing jewelry talent to make our custom rings. He lived an interesting, full life serving others and will be missed.

Just came across the silver baby cup Jim hand-engraved for our oldest daughter when she was born. I think of all the beauty created by Jim's hands through the years and what a kind, helpful spirit he had. Our condolences to all of Jim's family and his many friends.

So sorry for the loss to all Jim's family. For many years that Jim and I worked together, he and I had many laughs. Such a tragic loss and I know he will be greatly missed.

I don't believe in heaven, but since Jim does I'd like to think that now there will be someone there to fix broken bikes and to rebuild old cars with great love, to clear the driveways for the older neighbors, to take the time for a chat or to teach dogs the Sydney method of frisbee catching. We all know that the driveway to heaven will be a Jim-made creation that will trump any building codes they have up there. Jim was always clearing paths. I don't suspect eternity will change that.
