I had only known Gladys for about the10 years. We had become close friends and spent hours in conversation over coffee at McDonalds. She always looked beautiful and had a smile on her face. Her bright outlook on life always amazed me because I knew she was in constant pain. I offered her help many times, but she she was such a proud person she always refused my help. She often spoke of her husband Bob and how much she missed him. I will miss our visits and time together.
