George shared being my boss with Martin Henry at the KU Endowment Association in the 1970s. How lucky could someone get? He was in every way a gentleman, calm, soft spoken, and had a twinkle in his eye. I'm so glad I got to see him at reunions of the "Youngberg Hall" gang and send my sympathies to his family.
