My sincere condolences to family and friends. Gary was memorable enough that I share my respects after meeting him at Pinckney elementary school in the 1960's and following through Lawrence High. He was a good man and will be missed!

Gary was one of the nicest finest people I have ever known. Gary was special in many ways. I can still and always will remember how he would stick up for me when Rick and his other friends might be tormenting me in one way or another when I was a kid. I have so many memories of Gary and his entire family from the ramp jump in front of our house that Gary won but his front fork busted and his chin road the sidewalk, to my first ride over 100 MPH, 120 to be exact, in the old blue station wagon, to the hanging on to Gary as he pulls a wheeling on his motorcycle with me on the back as we ride down Iowa street, to the crazy trip to south Dakota for Rick's wedding, to the rides in the new-old Chevy 4-wheel Frankenstein truck, to helping out at Bandimere race track in Denver, to hanging out and playing foosball at Louise's West. I could go on and on. Through all that I never heard Gary say a bad word about anybody, he was truly special.

Barry, sorry to hear about Gary. I lost Randy in 2015 and think about him every day. That's how they live now, never forgotten. Love ya brother.

Gary was always a great friend and person, from 4th grade till now. Riding bikes with the Headleys, helping roll papers, crabapple wars, drag racing and just hanging out at his house. he will be missed.
