My wife and I bought a Winter home in Scottsdale and when we moved in, Gary was the first person I met. Gary was the perfect neighbor because he was always busy... and inevitably brought you along, be it being a sporting event, cleanup project or a party. And if you became friends, you inevitably met his family and friends. We played pickleball every Winter, and as time went on, we learned about each others lives, and eventually figured that we probably passed each other numerous times when we were stationed in Danang, Vietnam, since his aviation unit was in the same area I was billeted in.

Gary´s passing leaves a big hole in my life. RIP, dear friend.

Gary was my DAD!
He loved his Family, Friends and Country! He was a very proud man of his many accomplishments in life, College Football, Military Career, Father, Grandfather and Friend to Many. He was always there when anyone needed help, we could always count on him! He loved to Exercise and be involved in any sporting activity. Golf, Pickle Ball, Swimming, Bike Riding and Weights were his usual activities. If he was not there, he was usually talking to a Neighbor, Friend or Stranger, he loved to share stories. I am going to Miss my Father Deeply for his Integrity, Honesty, Doing the Right Thing, Fun, Teaching and Sharing Stories on the Back Patio as we watched the Sunset here in AZ. Thank you to Everyone for your Kind Words, I know he loved Everyone! As my Father would Say, Take Care Bud!

Gary was a team mate of mine at PSU. One could rely on Gary to "be where he was supposed to be and do what he´s supposed to do"
I remember him being a very kind , thoughtful and compassionate person. He will be missed by all who played football with him at PSU.

In Loving Memory,
Craig Campbell `59-`63

Gary was a fine human being. When I started in real estate in 1989 he took me under his wing and showed me what to do. It was a very kind giving person. He definitely helped me be a success. May God rest his soul.
