Doris Harris Obituary

Doris Janet Harris, also known as "Nana" to her family, joined her parents, Henry Brutus Ward and Grace Eunice (Morley) Ward in their heavenly home on June 13th, 2017.

She was born to them on November 9, 1933.

She worked at various jobs throughout her life. She worked for A.C. Transit for 22 years. First as a bus driver, then she sold tickets at the San Francisco Terminal and last few years as middle management at the downtown offices in Oakland, CA. Most recently, she worked at the city garages in Modesto, CA.

She was an avid reader of books. She liked to crochet afghans for her grandchildren. She also liked to travel.

She is survived by a sister, Jessie Lulu Zeits, a brother, Brutus Morley Ward, 3 daughters; Laurie L. Arnold, Linda S. Kalugdan, and Lana D. Buck. Five grandchildren: Shaun Neil Harris, Kyra L. Arnold, Brandon and Brittany Kalugdan, and Joshua Buck and 5 great grandchildren.

A "Celebration of Life " to be announced.
