Donald Babcock Obituary
Donald H. Babcock, 81, Kansas City, KS, passed away Saturday April 27, 2013 at Providence Medical Center, KC, KS.
Funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday May 1, 2013 at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, KS. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Basehor, KS. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donald was born September 6, 1931 in Tonganoxie, KS, the son of Alva and Leona (Kramer) Babcock. He worked as a dispatcher for Campbell 66, Baumen and Bueford Truck Lines, KC, MO.
Survivors include; his wife Betty, of the home; two sons, David Babcock, Lawrence, KS, Ronald Babcock, Tonganoxie; one step-son, Tracy Knapp, Overland Park, KS; two daughters, Donna Schultz, Tonganoxie, Deana Gierum, McLouth, KS; one step-daughter, Deana Knapp, Meriden, KS; two sisters, Charlotte Surface, Raytown, MO, Doris Oelschlaeger, Eudora, KS; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
