Dolly Mark Obituary
Funeral services for Dolly Mae Mark, 89, Lawrence will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. She died December 4, 2012 at Providence Medical Center.
Dolly was born on April 29, 1923 in St. Paul, KS the daughter of Lawrence and Mabel Mae (Gregg) Riley.
She was a homemaker. Dolly was a member of the Society Order of Beauceant, Lawrence Assembly #25 and Eastern Star.
She married Vernon Mark August of 1953. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1986. She later married Gerald Mark on December 21, 1987. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1995.
Survivors include son, L. John Mark and wife Janice, Lansing, KS; two daughters, Barbara Holm, Las Animas, CO, Betty Canaday, Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Tracy, Laura, Joel, Amanda; seven great grandchildren, Jordan, Morgan, Brendan, Jessie, Cole, Jacob, Ali and one step great grandson, Mason. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Faler and three brothers, Lawrence, Marvin and Ralph Riley.
The family will greet friends from 6 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
