Dean Morrison Obituary

LAWRENCE-- Dean Allen Morrison, 42, of Lawrence KS has passed on. The cause of death is unknown.

He was the son of Dreama Louise Morrison and Lonnie Dean Biggers. Grandson of Retta Morrison. Nephew of Martha, Trudy Morrison, Johnnie J Morrison Jr., and Patricia Bauer. Brother of Jason Morrison, Anthony Morrison, and Angela Biggers. Father of Cole Morrison, Serenity Morrison, and Serenity Raine Sumter.

Beloved uncle to Kiersten, Kelsie, Sebastian Morrison, Khrista Bell, Dominic, Mina, and Dahlia Morrison. He is met in heaven by Retta, Johnnie, and Dreama Morrison.

Dean was an introvert that loved people and to celebrate. He lived for nature, music, family, and friends. Religion was important to him and he lived by God's word, his Native American heritage, and philosophy. Helping people was Dean's life goal. Not having a lot for himself, he would, and has, given the shoes off his feet to those less fortunate. He spent most of his days helping our homeless community by bringing food and necessities to those who could not get around. With only a bike or his feet, he took care of everyone he could. There will be a memorial service for friends and family at L.I.N.K. (221 W 10th St. Lawrence, KS) Sat. March 18th, 2023 at 2:30pm.
