Darlene Wheeler, 92, Nortonville, KS, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Brandon Woods Nursing Home.

Funeral: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 27th at the O'Trimble Funeral Home, Nortonville. Burial: Nortonville Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorials: Jefferson County Visiting Nurses or F.W. Huston Memorial Hospital and may be sent to the funeral home. Online condolences sent to www.beckerdyer.com.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Norris, brothers, Rollin, Alvin and Lawrence Smith and grandson, Robert Wheeler. Survivors include sons, Phillip (Mary) Wheeler, Prairie Village, KS; Warren (Phyllis) Wheeler, Dale (Lisa) Wheeler; daughter, Martha (Dean) Nieder, and her brother Leo Smith, all of Lawrence; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren.
