I saw in today's paper that Mr. Kasprzak passed. It saddened me deeply, as I had recently become acquainted with him via his calls to the police department in an effort to make his nieghborhood safer. He reported speeders and stop sign-runners, and was working to have stop signs added. He was always patient, kind, and understanding of "the system", which I appreciated. I enjoyed our conversations and will truly miss him.

Peggy & family It saddens me to hear about the passing of your husband and father, Dan will be greatly missed by everyone who's life he touched. I always enjoyed our visits and respected his outlook on life. I remember when he told me he hired a childhood friend of mine at the TV station. Dan mentored Jon King who when on to become a successful TV producer. Jon had always spoke highly of Dan and gave him the credit for starting his successful career. Maybe they will meet in heaven and conduct some more editing! God Bless you Dan, RIP.

Mr Kaz...A True Gentleman, a friend, a Dad. Mr. Kaz was a fishing partner for many years with my Dad Paul "Jake" and my brothers John, Mark and I. Mr. Kaz filmed all of our Whitmer Football games and was a proud booster during our 1985 season. He was supportive, loved by all and my heart is sad with the news. To the Kasprzak family, be proud to have had such a great man in your lives and my prayers are with all of you. Celebrate his life.

Sincerely, Al "Jake" and the entire Jakubowski family.

To Dan's family --- I was so saddened to hear of Dan's passing. I always appreciated his phone calls w/feedback on our shows. He was so supportive, yet also constructively critical --- "tell them the left side of your face was a little dark and they need to adjust the lighting." Danny always told me that he told folks "I made Jerry what he is ..." and then he'd laugh. But truly, he gave me such great advice for so many years. He had such a love of life and the people in it. It's hard to believe I won't be hearing him on my phone again. My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.

Dan was a very good friend to me. I considered him one of my best of friends! I am going to miss him so much! I'll miss all of our conversations, all the laughter, and most his wisdom. Having lunch with Dan every Thursday was a day that I looked forward to. My Thursday's will never be the same. He was truly a good Christian man and I thank God for allowing our paths to not only cross but to flourish into a true friendship! My heart hurts with his passing. I'm sending my prayers, love and condolences to (Mama) Peggy, I love you and to the entire family. Only God knows when the Tapestry is done! No more pain my friend, you are now in your Heavenly body, enjoy the peace, job well done! Love You!

RIP to my neighbor growing up and friend Dan Kasprzak. He was always a bundle of joy and good times.
Thanks for all the card games, supplying me with some of my earliest pre-16 jobs and income, increasing the safety of the neighborhood, and being an all around good guy. You will be missed.

Dan worked with me at two law firms. He was a good hearted and loyal person. He love people, and his work. I seem to recall he did video for the Whitmer football team, and was proud of it. Dan's presence made the office a better place to be. We have missed him in retirement, and will miss him in this life. He was a very blessed man. Lou Tosi

We've had the privilege of getting to know Dan at the Stroke Life Center these last couple of years. He was an instant friend & encourager to all! He always had a joy and appreciation for his life & family, mentioning often how much he appreciated you Peggy. And of course we always had the banter between Dan & Dave to entertain!
He will be so missed!
