Choro and family,
In Cal we lost an outstanding person of great integrity, wisdom, warmth, humility, service and teaching. Cal, if I could only give you one more hug and see your wheel in front of mine on a leisurely ride (for you that is about 18-20 mph) through the beautiful wheatfields . . .
You are missed my friend. I know you were doing something you loved and that still doesn't make any of us feel any better. Please know that your living legacy is held in the highest regards by so many.
Choro, thank you for making my friend so very, very happy. I know he was everything to you and I am so very saddened for the whole family. I can think of nothing to say that will change what has happened. I am so sorry for the loss of Cal. To this family, thank you for sharing him with all of us. My life is better because I had the opportunity to brush shoulders with Cal.
