Betty Eiffert Obituary

Betty "Jean" (Howell) Eiffert, 91, of Bradenton, FL:, passed away April 17, 2022. Jean was born in 1931 to John and Mildred Howell and grew up on a farm near Cedar Grove, MO with 11 siblings. Jean married Eddie Eiffert in November 1950 and raised three kids, Mike, Cindy and Lisa, in Lawrence, KS. The last 25 years of their lives were spent at Mt. Vernon, Bradenton, FL. Survivors include Mike Eiffert (Terri) of Bradenton, FL, Cindy Brinkerhoff (Cory) and Lisa Baxter (Bob), both in Lawrence, KS. Also surviving are grandchildren, Brett Eiffert (Amy) of Knoxville, TN, Cassie Boyle (Mike) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Corinne Brinkerhoff of L.A., Corvas Brinkerhoff II (Megan) of Santa Fe, NM, Kelly Gofus (Sean) of Olathe, KS, Dan Baxter (Katie) of Lawrence, KS and Roxanne Mitts (Alex) of Olathe. She was so proud of all of her beautiful, caring and kind grandchildren, who provided her with 12 great grandchildren and one on the way! She was a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church in Bradenton. There will be no local Services at this time. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
