Allen Harvey Obituary
Allen K. Harvey "Harv", 58, of Leavenworth, KS passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Lansing, KS. Visitation will be from Noon to 2 PM, Sunday, August 24, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Private family committal of ashes to follow at a later date. Allen was born on October 20, 1955 in Kansas City, KS and was a lifelong area resident. He loved traveling around the United States and Canada hunting and fishing. He was a true outdoor enthusiast. He was a past owner and partner in M. S. I. of Shawnee where he worked for many years and had retired as a union carpenter. He was a 1973 graduate of Basehor High School where he set many records in the high hurdles and received awards in many sports. He is greeted in heaven by his parents and two brothers Steve and Chris Harvey and is survived by his sister Cindy Harvey of Basehor, KS. Six nieces and nephews as well as many friends that will miss him greatly.
