Al Harrington Obituary

You opened your home to us when we came to visit with Uncle Roy and Grandmother. It was the first time I met anyone on Dad's side of the family other than Uncle Roy. You showed me what family was and meant....thank you Al. I will always remember the love you showed to me and my parents. Rest in peace cousin.

saw his show twice while on Oahu......he was so gracious & friendly....& his show was so authentic....he was so talented....

So heartbroken to hear of Al's death. His was the best show in the island. Seen him in Jan. 1989 when on vacation. I am from Allentown Pa. a stones throw away from Lancaster Pa. where in his show mentions his wife was from Lancaster and they went back to her home to visit every year. A very courteous and funny man. My condolences to his family. Rest in Peace...

So deeply sorry to hear this wonderful actor Mr. Al Harrington passed away. Mr. Al Harrington was an actor best known for playing Detective Ben Kokua on “Hawaii Five-O”, we enjoyed watching those shows. May Almighty God in Heaven comfort the Harrington family, friends and fan's broken hearts with endless love, strength, and peace as you cope with this loss in your lives. Mr. Al Harrington will certainly be missed by Hollywood and the whole world. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.

He was a friend of my husband's. We served missions in Samoa at the same time. Nice person to know.

we saw Al Harrington at his show at the Hilton Hawaiian Village...he was so gracious & the show really represented the people of Polynesia.....he graciously let us take photos with him....no charge for this...just his good will.....

You were one of the most kindest, sweetest and adorable people I’ve ever had the pleasure of calling my friend or as I would always refer to you as a big teddy bear. My heart aches for Rosa, your children and your grandchildren. Mahalo for graciously becoming a part of my life and the lives of the Brady Bunch. It was my upmost pleasure getting you and Rosa married. A day that will forever be etched in my heart. I’ve never seen two people that belonged together as much as you and Rosa. What a long and enduring career, abs part of a historic show. Such a pleasure to watch. I grew up watching Hawaii Five O, loved that show. May God be with the Harrington family, truly sorry for your loss.

So very sorry to hear of Al´s passing. Enjoyed watching him every week on Hawaii Five O. He will be missed. Thank for his contribution to the entertainment industry. I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Al Harrington. I always enjoyed watching him as Ben Kokua on the original Hawaii Five-O. I especially enjoyed the scenes with him and James MacArthur. My thoughts and prayers are with Al Harrington's family and friends.

I was privileged to see Mr. Harrington's show, on my first trip to Hawaii, in 1985. It was fantastic, as he had a great repoire with his audience! I have a video of that show which I purchased there . Also enjoyed his music! My condolences to his family. Aloha from a long time fan!
