Derek Thomas Lohmeyer was called home on the morning of January 24th. Derek was born on February 22, 1987, at Camp Lejeune, NC. Derek enjoyed spending his younger years on his grandparents' ranch in Deer Lodge, MT. In 2003 as a teenager Derek excelled in taekwondo, receiving a gold and silver medal at the Junior Olympics while representing Rocky Mountain Marital Arts in Butte, MT. Derek settled in Great Falls where he met Meredith, his future wife. Derek enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. Derek Lohmeyer is survived by his mother, Raechelle Jean Meekin; uncles, Bill (Amanda) Van Hoozen and Johnny Van Hoozen; sister, Kirsten Faith Fogle; his wife, Meredith Natalie Dinehart; daughters, Trinity Elliott, Gabrielle Marble, Serenity Hope Lohmeyer, Aurora Dinehart and Seraphina Lohmeyer; sons, Griffyn and Liam Dinehart. Derek is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Earlene Roberts; father, Thomas Meekin; and aunt, Tammy Russo.

Derek was amazingly humorous he was the father of our grandchildren Abel and Harper. He always had a story or a joke that left you laughing until you cried from his antics to his humor he always kept ya going may you rest in peace mister lohmeyer and remember always you were cared for and your kids will be told the good stories.
