Watertown, WI - Brian J. Mueller, 59, peacefully passed away at his home on January 23, 2026 after a year long battle against Glioblastoma.
Brian John Mueller was born on September 5, 1966 in
Berlin, WI to parents Robert and Judith (nee: Powless) Mueller. On August 4, 1990, Brian married the love of his life, Deborah "Deb" Shriver, in Montello, WI. They were fortunate to spend 39 years together and were blessed with three beautiful daughters along the way. The role of husband and father provided Brian with the biggest sense of joy and accomplishment throughout his life.
Brian was a hard worker, and recently celebrated 30 years with the Local 601 Union in the petroleum industry. Known as a friendly face and a bit of a perfectionist on the job site, he was known all across southeastern Wisconsin for his abilities to fix anything at a gas station as a service technician.
Brian was an avid golfer, who always enjoyed his time in nature on the course. At home, he took great pride in the care of his lawn, always ensuring it had the most crisp, clean lines. He was a lover of good food, and a master on the charcoal grill. Brian was a whiskey connoisseur who always looked forward to finding and sharing a new bottle. Most importantly, Brian cherished great times and lots of laughs with friends and family alike.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Mueller; 3 daughters, Amber (Brian) Jenkins, Michaela (Aaron Berken) Mueller, and Elizabeth (Nick Albertini) Mueller; one granddaughter, Quinn Jenkins; twin sister, Brenda (Tom) Wick; and siblings, Gary Mueller, Mark Mueller, Roberta Kanak, Rachelle (Gary) Goebel, and Mervin (Lisa) Nagel; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Mueller; sister, Renee Mueller; step-father, Red Nagle; and father-in-law Ron Shriver.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the UW Cancer team as well as all of the caregivers at Rainbow Hospice for the care and respect Brian was constantly shown throughout his battle with cancer.
