Mary Nell (Jones) Hesse, 99, of Waco, passed to her eternal resting place January 13, 2026, in Denton, Texas. Service will be held at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, Waco, Texas, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
Born October 10, 1927, in Carlton, Texas, daughter of the late Nan Lavena (Elder) Jones and James Druid Jones of Hico, Texas.
Mary Nell is preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Hesse; sisters: Leona V. Cox, Mamye L. Casey; brothers: J. D. Jones, Jr., Billy W. Jones, Wade C. Jones, Wayne D. Jones and Alvie Lee Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathey; son-in-law, Mark Hannah; granddaughter, Emilie Kivell and sisters: Phyllis Hatchett and Virginia Woller.
