Wade Clark Obituary

Wade W. Clark Sr., 86, of Springdale, passed away April 4, 2026. He was born July 8, 1939, in New Jersey to his parents, John Cervice and Helen Zessweiss. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959. After his discharge from the service, he worked for Allegheny Valley School District as a custodian and later as a maintenance supervisor and married the love of his life, the late Josephine Tomaszewski Clark. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping, and taking his RV to the mountains. When not fishing, he loved to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers with his family. Surviving him are his son, Wade (Tammy) Clark Jr. of Apollo, Dan (Laurie) Clark of Springdale; sister, Dorothy Smith of Michigan; sister-in-law, Lorraine Pollock; four grandchildren, Bill and Maddie Clark, Jacob and Emilia Clark, Matthew and Mary Clark, and Sarah Clark; seven nephews; and niece, Dawn Murphy. Besides his parents, Mr. Clark was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Josephine; brother, John Cervice; and his brother-in-law, John Smith. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2026, at CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pgh.
