Sally you made a major and lasting impact on the AK Valley EMS community. You were my 1st EMS mentor and helped make me a confident and successful paramedic! Rest in peace my friend.

Sally, was a wonderful person, I worked with her at the ER at AVH. She was skilled, compassionate, and helpful, always putting patients first. I am so sorry for your loss. Sally loved her family dearly and spoke of them often.

One of my Mentors. She showed me that you can be harsh, aggressive with your treatment, but still have a good bedside manor.
She was also the one who explained the family ideal. We live in a small area. We run with our neighbors. There will be times we treat friends and even family. But, if you care about EMS you will treat every patient like a family member, and one you like. That way, you are experienced treating your family when the actual call does come. Love you Sally. Thanks for the knowledge and friendship.

In the 31 years I was an EMT Sally was one of the very best paramedics that ran calls with me. She I was very good at what she did. I do remember we had a couple of bad calls together and she took care of me as well. Rest easy Sally
