Roy Brumbaugh Obituary

Roy E. Brumbaugh, 72, of North Huntingdon, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026. He was born on Jan. 19, 1954, in McKeesport, a son of the late Martin Brumbaugh and Gladys Milne Brumbaugh. Roy was a member of Sampson's Mill Presbyterian Church in White Oak and Alcoholics Anonymous. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a laborer for U.S. Steel at both the Irving Works and Edgar Thompson Works. He was also employed by Wabco Air Brake, where he operated the drill press. In his free time, Roy enjoyed biking, camping, bowling, and attending car shows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin Brumbaugh and Gary Brumbaugh; and one nephew, Chad Brumbaugh. He is survived by his wife, Rose Mesiarik Brumbaugh; two sons, Drew Brumbaugh and R. Stephan Brumbaugh; one daughter, Marla Brumbaugh; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. www.shirleyfuneralhome.com.
