Ronald DiClaudio Obituary

Ronald Alexander DiClaudio, 67, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. He was born Feb. 1, 1959, in Greensburg, a son of the late Alex and Antoinette (Cilli) DiClaudio. Ron was a dedicated employee of the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County, where he worked faithfully for over 30 years. He was known for his strong work ethic and the relationships he built throughout his career. Ron will be remembered most for his genuine love for God, his wife, and his boys, of whom he was incredibly proud. He had a deep faith and was a member of the Greensburg Alliance Church. Ron found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved working in the yard, relaxing by the pool, and taking trips to Myrtle Beach. He truly treasured time spent with family and friends and was always happiest when everyone was together. A passionate sports fan, Ron especially loved Pitt football. Ron also enjoyed unwinding in front of the TV, with favorites including Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, and My Cousin Vinny. He had a gift for making people laugh, and his sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Ron had a special love for his dogs, Paisley, who recently passed, and Stella, who faithfully stayed by his side each day. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Michelle (Norton) DiClaudio; his sons, Matt DiClaudio of Jeannette and Gavin DiClaudio of Greensburg; a sister, Sandy DiClaudio of Jeannette; a brother, Jerry DiClaudio (Staci), of Pittsburgh; his cherished nieces and nephews, Chrissy Chesno (Joe), Staci Chusko (Andy), Mitch DiClaudio (Lacie), and Todd Duckworth; and several loving cousins. Ron's love, faith, and pride that he had for his family will live on in all who knew him. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 North Second St., Jeannette. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in the Greensburg Alliance Church, 4428 Route 136, Greensburg, with Pastor James Lewellen officiating. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greensburg Alliance Church.

I have very few memories of my childhood and yet I recall all the joy and laughter he brought me! Ronnie had such a heart for children, and I imagine he will be greatly missed by so many!

Praying he is at peace with his Heavenly Father!

Yesterday

I was in the same home room with Ron in junior high. He always had a smile. It’s sad to read about his passing, but a blessing knowing he loved Jesus. I’m sure Ron is smiling at Jesus right now. ❤

We are so sorry for the passing of Ronnie. What a gem of a man...so many sweet memories we have of times spent together. To be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord...I´m sure he´s rejoicing with all those that have gone before him...our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Yesterday

While I was in law school, Ron was a teenager who would spend his Saturdays peddling newspapers door to door as part of my crew. We developed a lasting relationship. My sympathy to the DiClaudio family. RIP, Ron. Mike Stewart
