Robert Graziano Obituary

Robert "Bob" Ernest Graziano, 86, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Born Sept. 2, 1939, in New Kensington, he was the second-born child of the late Dominic Graziano and Ermelinda "Amy" (Bonelli) Graziano. Bob had three brothers, the late Anthony Graziano of Champaign, IL, Dominick "Mickey" Graziano of Huntersville, NC, and the late David Graziano of Arnold. Bob was a graduate of Arnold High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Saint Vincent College. He worked as a labor foreman for Easley & Rivers Interior Contractors in Pittsburgh. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman in Garmisch, Germany. Later, he built a long and dedicated career as a chemical and metallurgical technician with Alcoa Laboratories, where he worked for 30 years before retiring to care for his mother. Bob will be remembered as a jovial, loving, supportive, and generous man. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, including several generations of cousins. A man of deep faith, he was a devoted member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. He volunteered as an usher and put his culinary skills to work in the kitchen at Italian Day Festivals. Bob enjoyed gardening, cooking, creating family photo albums, making wine, and sharing stories and laughter at family celebrations. Bob was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his loving smile and hearty laugh will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Bob is survived by his brother, Dominick "Mickey" Graziano; his sister-in-law, Denise (Valigursky) Graziano; six nieces; seven grandnieces; and six grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Anthony Graziano; and his sister-in-law, Paulette (Kaminski) Graziano. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold. Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Mount Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington.

Yesterday

So sad to read of Bob's passing. I wanted to tell him how beautiful his Spring flowers looked in his yard. He spent so much time out working in his yard. We will miss your easy going personality and smile. Bruce will miss discussing the neighborhood with you. The block has been different without you. We had prayed for a day that you would be back in your home but God had other plans. May you rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy to your family. We hope that all those happy family memories bring you comfort.
