Diane Barth Obituary

Diane Barth, 92, of Lower Burrell, died Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born in New Kensington on Oct. 20, 1933, to the late Paul and Edith Saccamano Galbo. Ms. Barth was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell, and had worked for ALCOA, with her former husband at Coiffures by Ron Barth, and Peoples Library, both New Kensington and Lower Burrell locations. She enjoyed ballroom and line dancing, doll collecting, painting, traveling, watching the Pirates and the Steelers, and spending time with and taking care of her family. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald P. (Kim) Barth of West Leechburg and Chris (Paula) Barth of Sarver; grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob (Nikki), and Lydia Barth; and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Waylon Barth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her longtime companion, James P. Gay. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2026, at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder St., where Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church.
