Anna Layhew Obituary

Anna Marie Layhew, 69, of Natrona Heights, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. She was born on April 2, 1956, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Dominic D. and Virginia Anna (Boles) Guardino. Anna Marie was a homemaker. Anna Marie had so much love and warmth to celebrate the seasons and holidays. She was a driven and hard-working lady with principles and was energetic. She was a member of the VFW and volunteered at the senior center and church functions. Anna Marie was a fan of the Steelers, the Beatles, oldies music, and dancing and loved camping. She was always available and willing to serve and give to others unconditionally. Survivors include her son, Jason Layhew, of Saxonburg; granddaughter, Abigail Grace; and siblings, Tom Guardino, Daniel Guardino, Joanne Cricks, and Nancy Regan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick H. Layhew, in 2015; and her son, John Layhew. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, at DUSTER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with Christopher Baker, her nephew, officiating.
