Paul Henderson Obituary

Paul Henderson, 70, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully on Feb. 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born in Mt. Pleasant on Feb. 16, 1955, to the late Paul Henderson Sr., and Shirley (Ohler) Arbasak. Paul will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Marcia (Barrick) Henderson. He is also survived by their four children, Valerie (Henderson) McKeehan and her husband Jesse (Mak) McKeehan, Stephanie Henderson, Neal Henderson, and Alec Henderson; and two grandchildren, Vienna McKeehan (six) and Charlotte McKeehan (two). Paul was a man of faith and regularly attended Hempfield Church of Christ. In the past, he was an active member of Pennsville Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee for over 30 years. He also led a 1st-6th grade youth program called Whirly Birds and Jet Cadets for 17 years. A beloved businessman in the community, he founded and operated Henderson Auto Inc. in Scottdale from 1983 to 2020. He was a founder and president of C.A.R. (Combined Auto Recyclers), est. 2001. A former president of the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, he was a respected leader with an innovative and playful spirit. He lived an active lifestyle, participating in competitive weightlifting for many years. He also held three black belts in Aikido, Judo, and Karate. Paul loved to teach and spent 15 years as a Judo instructor at Warrior Skillz Martial Arts. Despite his martial arts background and physical strength, Paul was tenderhearted, gentle, and often silly. He loved to strike up a conversation with absolutely anyone and took a genuine interest in their lives and stories. His family and children were his greatest pride. He thoroughly enjoyed making his granddaughters laugh and loved to spend his weekends attending his son, Alec's, acoustic shows. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Generous and kind, he always had a positive outlook and was quick with a joke to make you smile. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, with Rev. Robert Bixel officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
